BELGIAN NATIONAL DAY 2025 IN ADELAIDE
Belgian Beer Café Oostende usually has celebrations for Belgian National Day on the weekend before but we have not been able to confirm any events at time of publication.
That said, Belgian National Day 2025 falling on a Monday will coincide with their Monday special: Mussel Mondays 1kg mussels with toasted bread, 3 flavours to choose from for $25. Book your table here
Belgians in Adelaide will meet at Grew in Cudlee Creek for a relaxed afternoon of good food, drinks, and great company on Saturday 26 July. Whether you’ve been before or it’s your first time joining them, everyone is welcome, including partners and kids!

Saccharomyces will celebrate Belgian Beer Week with 10+ Belgian taps daily, special events, and a variety of unique brews. On the program:
Monday 21 July: Belgian Day
- Launch of a new Belgian-inspired food menu (steak frites, Flemish stew, schnitzel with beer sauce)
- Extensive Belgian beer tap wall featuring iconic brews
Tuesday 22 July: Trappist Day (3 PM till late)
- Focus on authentic monastic Trappist beers: La Trappe Blond & Dubbel, Chimay Blanche & Dorée, and the rare 3 RULES collaboration brewed by monks from La Trappe, Zundert & Tynt Meadow

- a vertical tasting of St. Bernardus ABT 12—one of the most revered Quadrupels in the world. This is a rare opportunity to experience how time transforms this iconic brew, side by side.
- On the lineup: 2014 Vintage – A decade of mellowing and complexity, 2024 Fresh Release – Bold, fruity, and full of youthful punch, and Matusalem 6L Bottle – A showpiece pour, perfect for comparison.

Belgian Beer Café Melbourne has been celebrating Belgian National Day all week and will continue to until Sunday 20 July. They have an impressive range of fully imported Belgian beers on tap. Try all 16 beers and you can go into the draw to win a hamper.
On Sunday 20 July, on the eve of Belgian National Day 2025, there will be an exciting celebration. They will have Mussel Madness ($20 mussel pots, with thanks to their seafood partner, Yumbah Sea Farms), jazzy French grooves with ‘Vive La Difference’ from 14:00-17:00.

Belgian Club of Victoria will celebrate Belgian National Day with a lunch at Franco-Belge on Sunday 27 July. You will dine on a Belgian lunch from a selected menu of national dishes and a range of Belgian Beers. The celebrations will continue after lunch with the National Anthem, trivia with Belgian prizes, kids movie, and socialising.

Brasserie Franco-Belge is closed for their annual mid-year break until Tuesday 22 July. It does not appear to be doing anything special for Belgian National Day.
The Castle Hotel appears to be closed at the moment so will not have its usual Belgian National Day celebrations.

Belgian Beer Café Westend is celebrating over 4 days from Friday 18 through to Monday 21 July, Belgian National Day itself. They will have Belgian-style chef’s specials and limited-edition beers on tap all weekend.
The highlight event of the weekend is their Mussels & Brussels 4 course dinner on 20 July during their Belgian National Weekend
