The program for Feast Festival 2025, Adelaide’s LGBTQIA+ Arts and Cultural Festival, was released yesterday. Among the program of events are a celebration of French wine, some pétanque, the Adelaide Queer Film Festival with a few French films in the line-up, opera and even some Celine Dion. A Feast of Talent with Opera’s Finest
State Opera South Australia presents this pre-show talk with Morgan Pearse, one of the most versatile and fearless baritones of his generation, while he is in Adelaide singing the role of Mercutio in Gounod’s Roméo and Juliette.
The Kitchen at Sky City holds a 4 course queer degustation dinner celebrating Chablis, the French iconic expression of chardonnay, served with a little side of shade as they discuss some of their most unbelievable customer reviews. Wine from iconic Chablis producer Domaine François Raveneau is just one of those that will be served on the night.
Club de Pétanque d’Adelaide Inc. invite you to learn how to play pétanque at the second Queer Pétanque event. There will be lessons, practice, games, music and a BBQ as well as a fully licenced bar.
Celine Dion & Bee Gees: Immortality
Two music icons you probably didn’t expect to see put together into the one show: Celine Dion and the Bee Gees. In this show by Winner of The Voice 2023, Tarryn Stokes; Idol winner Kate DeAraugo & Australia’s Got Talent star Greg Gould, you’ll travel through the hits of one of Australia’s most successful music exports, as well as songs they wrote for others as well as taking a tour through Celine Dion’s impressive catalogue.
Adelaide Queer Film Festival (AQFF) Opening Night & Enzo
Ahead of the South Australian premiere of Enzo, AQFF curators Dr Stuart Richards and Dr Jess Pacella will chat about this year’s program while you sip on a welcome drink.
