Taste Champagne 2021: the biggest global champagne showcase tours Australia

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Taste Champagne 2021, now in its 7th year, has grown to be the largest champagne tasting event in the world and you get to enjoy it here in Australia! COVID-19 has seen it rescheduled twice but it’s got to be third time lucky!

Taste Champagne 2021

Organised and hosted by Black Events and International Wine Communicator of the Year, Tyson Stelzer, Taste Champagne offers a comprehensive tasting across champagnes from houses, growers and cooperatives.  Tyson Stelzer is also the writer of the impressively comprehensive Champagne Guide.

We can’t travel to France to taste all that the champagne region has to offer but we don’t need to with Taste Champagne 2021 touring 4 Australian capital cities in October and November and Sydney in February 2022. Tickets have largely sold out in some of the cities so grab yours quickly – you don’t want to miss out.

Apoteca’s Champagne and sparkling wine tasting is on in Adelaide next Monday!

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Apoteca, formerly known as Apothecary 1878, is hosting its 17th annual champagne and sparkling wine tasting on Monday 25 November.

APOTECA is the exciting new era for Apothecary 1878. While some things will stay the same such as the wine bar and restaurant maintaining its commitment to quality wining and dining, Apoteca is the new name and comes with a new look for the former Apothecary 1878.

The new look takes the 1920s Parisian inspired design to a more contemporary New York brasserie, inspired by the owner, Paola Coro’s recent trip to the Big Apple. Apoteca comes from the Spanish word for apothecary and presents a new chapter for Apothecary 1878.

Iconic features of the interior remain including the main bar’s historic 141 year old pharmacy cabinets, the marble floor tiles and the impressive 30 page drinks list. What is new though apart from the look and name is also the new modern European menu from head chef Mirco Ruthoff and a bespoke cocktail menu with a focus on prohibition era classics.

All you need to know about the Champagne and Sparkling Wine Tasting
