From Thursday 16 to Sunday 19 May, Noosa will be transformed into a foodie’s wonderland for Noosa Food & Wine 2019. The 4 day program features food, drinks and a few galas. Moët & Chandon winemaker and Chef de Cave Benoît Gouez is one of the international guests.

ROSÉ REVOLUTION – 17 MAY $119

Have Friday afternoon knock-offs with a Rosé dégustation hosted by Moët & Chandon winemaker and Chef de Cave Benoît Gouez. Rosé the afternoon away in the Riviera Bar & Lounge with a tasting of Ice Rosé NV, Rosé Imperial NV and Grand Vintage Rosé, paired with delicious canapés.

 

AN EXCLUSIVE DINNER WITH BENOÎT GOUEZ – MOËT & CHANDON CELLAR MASTER – 17 MAY $269

Start with canapés in the glamorous Sofitel Noosa poolside cabanas, followed by a sit down 4-course dinner with matching Moët & Chandon champagnes in Noosa Beach House restaurant.

POP! – POP ART, BUBBLES AND CANAPÉS – 18 MAY $125

There are more bubbles in store on Saturday with an arty event.

 

Internationally renowned pop artist Peter Phillips will inaugurate his newly-constructed studio gallery with an exhibition of works spanning the course of his influential six-decade career. There will be collaborations with a number of fantastic icons in their field to make the event one to remember.

Taste contemporary canapés by acclaimed creative Chef Josh Lopez, best known for his role at the lauded two-hat GOMA and winner of the Citi Qld Chef of the Year as well as Young Chef of the Year.

Artisanal cocktails prepared by Noosa’s newly launched ‘Fortune Distillery’ made with limited edition/limited release spirits in partnership with Peter Phillips will also be served. The edition of six art bottles will be unveiled on the day.

 

Freeman Vineyards from specialist family wine company, located in the hilltops of NSW, will be serving its Taste Freeman Prosecco.

 

Plus you can learn about the history of Pop Art from Lucina Ward, the Senior Curator at the National Gallery of Australia. And you will also get to watch the debut of an accompanying short film outdoors and be among the first to see the retrospective exhibition.
