Apoteca, formerly known as Apothecary 1878, is hosting its 17th annual champagne and sparkling wine tasting on Monday 25 November.

APOTECA is the exciting new era for Apothecary 1878. While some things will stay the same such as the wine bar and restaurant maintaining its commitment to quality wining and dining, Apoteca is the new name and comes with a new look for the former Apothecary 1878.
The new look takes the 1920s Parisian inspired design to a more contemporary New York brasserie, inspired by the owner, Paola Coro’s recent trip to the Big Apple. Apoteca comes from the Spanish word for apothecary and presents a new chapter for Apothecary 1878.
Iconic features of the interior remain including the main bar’s historic 141 year old pharmacy cabinets, the marble floor tiles and the impressive 30 page drinks list. What is new though apart from the look and name is also the new modern European menu from head chef Mirco Ruthoff and a bespoke cocktail menu with a focus on prohibition era classics.

For the bargain price of $65 you get two hours of tastings, access to some of the producers as they pour your tastings, and canapés will be served to complement the sparkling wines and champagnes.

Apoteca’s Annual Champagne and Sparkling Wine Tasting is on next Monday, 25 November 2019 from 6 to 8pm.
Tickets cost $65 per person if purchased today or $75 after today and at the door.
