Brittany Down Under 2026

Music & Dance: Celtic Beats by the Harbour

Breton culture is best experienced through its music and dance, and this year’s lineup is packed with rhythm and heart.

Live music acts

  • Louzco Fouzco 10–11 am & 1–2 pm
A lively Celtic fusion band blending Galician-Portuguese roots with modern beats, Louzco Fouzco will have the crowd dancing from the first note.
  • The Folksters 11 am–12 pm & 3–4 pm
Formed by Anthony and Bernadette O’Neil, founding members of the Irish group Saoirse, this Melbourne-based duo brings beautifully written, soulful Celtic music to Sydney.
  • William Hutton 11 am–12 pm & 3–4 pm
The celebrated frontman of Celtic rock band Claymore and long-time delegate to the Festival Interceltique de Lorient joins the musical festivities, adding decades of Celtic music experience to the program.

Breton dance classes

Two fun, free classes (12 pm & 2:30 pm) will bring the traditional circle and line dances of Brittany to life. Led by Tiffany Udo, these 30-minute lessons let everyone — from beginners to families — discover the joy of fest-noz, the UNESCO-recognised Breton dance tradition.
