Join Saccharomyces Beer Café on Saturday July 3 (they know it’s 2 days late) for an all-out Canadian sensory assault. They will be serving a Canadian inspired menu alongside brews from some of the best independent Canadian breweries. Featuring tap beers from Bellwoods Brewery, Les Trois Mousquetaires, Collective Arts and Brasserie Dunham. They also managed to nab over 20 different packaged Canuck brews for your tasting pleasure. This year they will be launching Off The Wall Puncheon Pinot Noir 2019, as well as a selection of the great wines and matching foods in a 3 course accompaniment. The Canadian menu will be in full effect with poutine(s), a Montreal bagel (with Montreal smoked meat!), nanaimo bars, maple bacon loaded nachos, a Canuck burger, and a couple other fun surprises from the kitchen. Over the bar, they will be serving Caesars, maple spiced cider, two limited release Canadian beers (an orange and maple sour beer, as well as a bacon whisky washed stout to be served alongside bacon washed Canadian rye whisky!)
Canadian tunes will be pumping all week and to cap it off we’ll have a very special Canadian Sunday brunch featuring peameal bacon and some other breakfast delicacies.

The Catfish will be open from 12-11pm, with Canadian specials all day. They will be slinging Caesars, discounted shots of Canadian Club 1858, a maple old fashioned featuring Canadian Club 12, a maple and rum red ale by Bad Shepherd/Wayward, and hopefully some imported Canadian beers (unconfirmed, importing during COVID is a headache).
The kitchen’s serving up poutine, all dressed seasoned fries, and a Halifax Donair sandwich. They also have some Canadian Club Sherpa hats to give away.

Wayward Brewing Company’s owners, Pete and Yvette, hail from the land of the maple leaf, and each year Wayward Brewing Company throws them a big ol’ party to celebrate.
This year, they’ve once again teamed up with their mates at Bad Shepherd to brew a maple and rum red ale just for the occasion.
