International Animation Day: French animation you can stream or rent online

Today is International Animation Day. It was established in 2002 by the International Film Association in France. It is held on 28 October every year.

To celebrate International Animation Day, below we share a number of French and Belgian animated films that you can stream or “rent” online.

Perhaps the most famous French and Belgian animations are Tintin, Asterix and The Smurfs but there are many more.
