FREE CONCERTS AT PERTH FESTIVAL 2025
FREE CONCERT 20 Feb, East Perth Power Station
Cassis is WA’s coolest French-Australian band. Formed in 2011 by vocalist Véronique Ramén and guitarist Jon Edwards, it was initially an acoustic duo. Since, the band has transitioned to electric with the addition of drummer Warren Hall, bassist Seb Davidson and Keys Tim Newhouse.
Their music wants you to listen and it’s a sound that will move you and have you up and dancing. Settle in for an evening of heavily drenched funk synthesiser riffage art-pop rock driven by ‘Nico-esque’ French poetica speak-sing vocals. Cassis is soon to launch their second album Riding on Clouds. This is a record charged with the band’s unique artistic output that reflects on the emotions of relationships from a deep personal place and an imagined kind. Hear tracks from the new album, alongside songs which have won them fans over the years.

This music is a true ode to life! They will also perform in another concert with South African group The Joy (see below). Lindigo is also coming to WOMADelaide 2025
