As Quebec prepares to celebrate its national holiday, Saint Jean-Baptiste Day, on Friday, which isn’t really celebrated in Australia, we’re looking at Canada Day 2022 events happening next week. Lou Blackwell and the French Set have been delighting audiences with their authentic and stylish performance of songs from the great French chanson tradition. They won a Fringe weekly music award in 2018 and were the Advertiser pick of the Fringe for music in 2021.
