Canada Day 2025 is fast approaching, and while the official date is 1 July, some venues across Australia are getting in early and hosting celebrations over the weekend. Whether you’re Canadian, have Canadian ties, or just want to join in the festivities, there are plenty of ways to mark the occasion with food, music, hockey, and more. Canada Day 2025 in Adelaide
The Australia Canada Association is celebrating Canada Day 2025 on Saturday 28 June from 12:00 to 4:00 pm at Cathedral Hotel in North Adelaide.
There will be free food trays, and food available including Poutine and Bloody Caesars at the bar, plus Canadian music and a photo slideshow. Kids will receive a colouring book and crayons, and the first 50 bookings will also receive a free Canada/Australia lapel pin.
Tickets online are $12.50 for adults, or $15 at the door. Kids 16 and under are free.
Shapeshifter Brewing Co. is also celebrating on Saturday 28 June, from midday to 10pm. They will have Canadian food, cocktails and music. Plus, they will have some limited edition merch made just for the event.

Canada Day 2025 in Brisbane
Good Grace is celebrating Canada Day 2025 on Sunday 29 June with a free event, with live music in the courtyard/beer garden from 11.30 till 2.30 and loads of favourite Canadian specials for the day from 8am.
All food will also be available for take away.

Sasquatch Bar will be celebrating Canada Day 2025 on Saturday 28 June. That’s the only information we have at time of publishing.
Sea Legs Brewing will celebrate Canada Day on Tuesday 1 July with Canadian-themed trivia, Canadian themed food specials and more. All the excitement is bundled into North America Week from 28 June to 6 July, but Canada Day has a distinctly Canadian flavour.
The Prince Consort is celebrating Canada Day 2025 and the first day of Freeze Fest on Canada Day itself, Tuesday 1 July 2025. They will have all day dining including epic Canadian specials, hockey highlights on the big screen, Canada-themed trivia from 5pm(don’t worry, still mixed with General Knowledge!) and prizes to give away.

Canada Day in Emerald, VIC
Emersleigh Estate is celebrating Canada Day on Saturday 29 June with two new release wines: Off The Wall Chardonnay 2024 and Off The Wall Pinot Noir 2024. The tastings will be accompanied by a 3 course meal of Canadian favourites.
Canada Day on the Gold Coast
The Loose Moose is celebrating all week with Canadian Week from Monday 30 June to Sunday 6 July. They will have a limited-time Candain-inspired menu, Coors specials, and Fireball specials.
Canada Day 2025 in Melbourne
Canada Club of Victoria is celebrating Canada Day 2025 at Bad Shepherd on Saturday 28 June from 2:30pm. You can expect drinks, food, some door prizes and trivia.
If you’re keen, come early for Bad Shepherd’s Great Canadian Brunch; stay for the Canadian-themed tournament challenge, or in the evening enjoy the band, some Canadian music bingo, and poutine. Check the Bad Shepherd website for more details.

Tallboy & Moose is celebrating Canada Day over the weekend of Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 June. They will have a special release beer, Casears, Canadian tunes and Canadian food.
They will also have wing eating and air hockey contests on Saturday night.
The Catfish will celebrate Canada Day on Tuesday 1 July with the two most important elements of any Canada Day celebration: Caesars and poutine. They have also designed a French-themed cocktail list, including a knock-off Kir Royale (made with Prosecco), a twist on a Picon Biere, a French Onion Martini (complete with Savoy garnish), and our take on a wet pussy shot – Le Poisson-Chat.
Doors open at noon, and if you’d like a laugh with your libations, Catfish Comedy kicks off just after 7pm – a line-up of comedians for only $15.
The Wharf Hotel is hosting a “full-flavour flannel frenzy for a day worth using annual leave on” on from 11am on Tuesday 1 July for Canada Day 2025.

Canada Day 2025 in Perth
Beerporium is celebrating Canada Day on Sunday 29 June. Expect all your favourites like authentic poutine with cheese curds and Caesars with a DYI garnish station. Canadian tunes all day long with a special live performance from 3-5pm.
Cabin 401 Bar & Grill is hosting a USA v Canada ice hockey showdown called the Can-Am Clash on Saturday 5 July.
Expect full-contact play and a range of other activities. From 4pm, themed food and drinks will be available, including poutine, cheeseburgers, Poutine & Apple Pie Spring Rolls, brisket sandwiches, signature cocktails, and the launch of a new beer by Cheeky Monkey and Cabin 401. Attendees can also expect games, giveaways, and family-friendly entertainment with the Freedom Fairies to entertain the kids.
Canadian Club of WA is hosting Canada Day at Wembley Gastro Pub on Sunday 29 June.

The Aviary will celebrate Canada Day 2025 on the day itself, Tuesday 1 July. Enjoy all the things that make Canada great. From 11am they will be serving up delicious Canadian Taste of Home specials, including Poutine and Bloody Caesars. and have live music.
They are also planning a snow machine and ice hockey to make you feel at home and a Canada Day themed quiz. Dress to impress in your best red and whites for a free drink on arrival for anyone arriving in first hour plus get the chance to win a Canadian Hamper for the best dressed.
Canada Day 2025 in Sydney
Network Canada together with The Greenwood Hotel in North Sydney are putting on a Canada Day party from 2pm on Saturday 28 June.
Expect authentic Canadian food and drinks, Canadian DJs, a free street hockey tourney, their trademark quirky games, over $25k in prizes and giveaways… and tonnes of snow!
The Greenwood Hotel is only accepting table bookings for a limited window (but you still need an event ticket to get into the venue on the day), and they fill up fast! But, you don’t need to book a table to join the fun with plenty of seating available for walk-ins on the day.
