The sparkling will start flowing in Melbourne next weekend as The Bubbles Festival 2022 starts its annual series across the major Australian capital cities.
The Bubbles Festival is an informal, standing tasting of sparkling wines, including at least one champagne. It’s been running since its Melbourne start in March 2017. The Bubbles Festival is organised by The Bubbles Review, a website about all things sparkling wine. You will get to stroll from stand to stand and greet the producers and distributors of the sparkling wines, all the while tasting their bubbles. It’s a fun event to get together with friends or family and taste some stunning sparkling wines, some of which you may not have discovered before.
As always, to keep a bit of a surprise, the full list of who will be present is not revealed until the day but you can get some hints by following The Bubbles Review on social media (links at the conclusion of this article).
The $89 (plus booking fee) ticket to The Bubbles Festival 2022 includes:
- admission to one x two hour tasting session.
- a tasting introduction by Natalie Pickett, Founder, The Bubbles Review.
- 10 or more tastings of Sparkling Wine.
- tasting notes.
- a RIEDEL Champagne tasting glass (value $39.95).
- canapés served during tasting session.
- bubbly giveaways.
There’s also a VIP Ticket upgrade for an additional $65 + Booking fee which gives you priority access to The Bubbles Festival 2022, with a private tasting of a special cuvée prior to doors opening and a RIEDEL Extreme Champagne glass Twin pack valued at $75.00. $5 from every VIP upgrade will go to The Bubbles Review’s chosen charity.
