This Saturday night, Australian time, will be the first match of both the French and the Australian team at the FIFA World Cup and it’s against each other!
We have found places where you can watch les Bleus against Australia’s Socceroos. There are of course many other places, but we have tried to find those which have published an event on Facebook or which are going to have a French get-together. Adélaïde Accueil has reserved a room and balcony from 6pm. There are only 35 spots left.

Alliance Française de Brisbane
Open to students and members of the Alliance Française de Brisbane, you can watch the match in French direct from the New Caledonian TV channel.
Maxime Hgs, a Frenchman in Australia is organising a gathering of French people at George Square where the match will be screened.
David Anim is organising a French gathering to watch the match.
Alliance Française de Canberra
Alliance Française invites you to spend the afternoon with them from 2:30pm with warm-up games of pétanque, mini football and juggling.
Live music provided by James Damien before the match. Steaks on special at $17 as well as Happy Hour from 4pm.
The casino will screen the match but we are not sure at the time of publishing if they are doing anything special for the game.

Free BBQ from 7pm before the match is screened at 8pm.
Alliance Française/Melbourne Accueil
The Alliance Française de Melbourne is opening its doors together with Melbourne Accueil from 7:30pm ahead of the match at 8pm. People can bring their own drinks and food.

La Maison de France au Lake Monger Recreation Club
La Maison de France is hosting the screening of the match at the Lake Monger Recreation Club.
A unique place to watch the match. $11 entry with a portion of ticket sales going to the Johnny Warren Football Foundation.
