Saturday Soirée with Champagne Bollinger

Very special Tasting Australia 2019 guest Guy de Rivoire, Champagne Bollinger International Sales Director will host this pre-dinner soirée. Celebrate the festival’s first weekend in style with three different Champagnes that showcase the prowess and distinctive style of the famous Bollinger champagne house:
- Bollinger Special Cuvée NV,
- Bollinger Rosé NV; and
- their much-admired La Grande Année 2007 –
The champagnes will be served with matched canapés from Festival Director Simon Bryant.

Settle in for a sparkling Sunday lunch; Champagne Bollinger will be poured with generosity alongside a whole host of iconic local champions of the bubble.
Acclaimed Australian chef David Thompson (Aaharn, Hong Kong), whose work at Nahm (Bangkok) found the restaurant named Asia’s best in 2014 will bring his signature lightness to the menu.
Federica Andrisani of Fico, Tasmania has pioneered the ‘neo bistro’ – honest food
meets fine dining.
Adelaide legend Vincenzo La Montagna (ex-Vincenzo’s Cucina Vera, Adelaide) returns to the spotlight, with author and chef Laura Cassai (former pastry chef Restaurant Orana) offering her expert knowledge of local ingredients.

Tasting Australia Airlines – Coffin Bay – SOLD OUT

Escape the city for a day and head for the crystal blue waters where the world’s best
oysters await.
Join Tasting Australia Airlines (TAA) for a full-day of gastronomic adventure in one of the country’s most spectacular coastal locations, the Eyre Peninsula.
A short flight from Adelaide – complete with luxury in-flight drinks service of Champagne Bollinger Special Cuvée presented by the Maison’s very own Guy de Rivoire – will start your day.
You will then be transferred to Coffin Bay Yacht Club for lunch where Guy will present a special tasting of rare Champagne Bollinger Cuvée to set the scene for a long and wonderful Tasting Australia 2019 lunch.
Australia’s favourite cook Maggie Beer, awaits your arrival and Tasting Australia’s beverage team will keep your glasses filled. The meal will be prepared by Peter Clarke (Vintners Bar and Grill) with input from lovable cook Maggie, celebrating premium local ingredients including the world-famous Coffin Bay oysters.
Following your meal, choose from one of Tasting Australia 2019’s leisure activities:
