BASTILLE DAY 2026 IN POTTSVILLE, NSW

Pottsville Beach Community Hall Supper Session #2– Saturday 18 July

Supper Sessions is Table Riot’s communal dining series, bringing people together over bold food, shared tables, and nights that feel a little bigger than your average dinner.

Each session explores a different cuisine, story, or influence. This time, they’re heading to France. This menu takes inspiration from the culinary journey of Matt Kemp — from his time as part of the formidable kitchen brigade at Sydney institution Banc, through to opening his own much-loved French restaurant, Balzac, in Randwick.

French cuisine has been a significant chapter in Matt’s career, and this dinner is a chance to revisit some of those influences through the Table Riot lens — generous, relaxed, and designed to be shared. Expect beautiful produce, classic techniques, bold flavours and a few culinary stories from the kitchens that helped shape the chef behind the feast.

Dark, fragrant, extraordinary. Parisian love cakes with pistachio and rose, then chocolate profiteroles with crème pâtissière. The final act should linger.
