As you’re aware, at the moment it’s not possible to enjoy French food or wine in your favourite French restaurant, cafe or bar due to social distancing and self-isolation rules. However, it is still possible to get your French food fix to enjoy at home. There are a number of French businesses across Australia that are offering takeaway and delivery and some have even made up special isolation packs of French food. Hey Jupiter in Adelaide’s East End is offering precooked meals each with a serve of mash for $12.50 each. These include beef cheek bourguignon, beef stroganoff and fish and green bean stew in saffron cream sauce. They are available for collection between 8am and 2pm daily.
Norwood’s slice of France is open for takeaway during its normal operating hours and is also offering home delivery daily. For family sized items call Will on 0430300638.
Les Deux Coqs
Les Deux Coqs in Adelaide Central Market is still open for business and their Prospect store has reopened so you can attend in person at either location to purchase your French food treats.
You can also order their delicious traditional, handmade French food online at their new online store. All products are able to be delivered to the Adelaide metropolitan area or can be picked up directly in-store. Pantry products can be shipped across Australia.
And don’t forget they also do sweet treats!
Sucre Patisserie is now offering a special range for those who are in isolation for pick up and delivery (Saturday afternoon only to specific postcodes), including isolation celebration cake and isolation breakfast pack.

12 of Laurent’s 18 stores across Melbourne remain open and are offering take-away. They have family sized quiches available for dinners, sandwiches for lunch, pastries, cakes and hot and cold drinks.

La Parisienne Pates
This company makes over 150 French food products that are supplied to many fine food supermarkets in Melbourne and regional Victoria.
La Parisienne Pates is also still open and trading as a charcuterie with breads, cheeses, take home meals, gourmet sausages pates and terrines saucissons, buttery shortcrust pastry quiches and pies.
