Indulge in cheese and learn new cooking skills at Good Food and Wine Sydney this weekend

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Good Food & Wine Sydney 2019 is on this weekend from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 June. There are 17 events with a French theme that we think you should attend!

We have been letting you know about them in separate articles this week on the subjects of champagne, wine, and now cheese and cooking skills.

CHEESE

Smelly Cheese Project

Adelaide’s cheese expert Valerie Henbest, who we interviewed back in January, will take you on a cheese appreciation journey that will provide you with a complete sensory experience in a relaxed and fun environment. Henbest will host a variety of classes to indulge you in all things cheese.

Crème de la crème with Cyrano (Fri, Sat and Sun)

French Cheese and French Wines – A marriage made in Heaven! Four beautiful French cheeses paired with four French wines.

World’s Best Cheeses (Fri, Sat and Sun)

When it comes to World’s Best Cheeses, you know you are in for a treat. In this masterclass you’ll get to try what the Smelly Cheese Shop staff believe are the World’s BEST cheeses.  Fact.

Cheese melting moment (Fri, Sat and Sun)

If we say, “Oozy, Creamy, Nutty and Sexy” would it be attractive enough?

The session will explore 4 types of cheeses and allow you to melt them on a mini partyclette. A closer step for you to understand why the Smelly Cheese Shop is so crazy about cheese.

Cheese and gin (Fri and Sat)

Gin and Cheese.  A very well-suited pairing!  An in-depth search for the perfect match!

The smellier the better with Landhaus (Fri, Sat and Sun)

There is no doubt, cheese with character is attractive. Trust them! And the smellier the cheese, the better in their opinion! Try it out to see for yourself!
