Bring a sparkling touch to your Autumn with The Bubbles Festival 2024

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Through April, May and June, The Bubbles Festival 2024 will bring Australian sparkling and champagne to 5 Australian cities in a series of 2 hour tastings.

The Bubbles Festival 2024

The Bubbles Festival 2024 is again organised by The Bubbles Review, which is a multi-award-winning blog and website devoted to the enjoyment of drinking champagne and sparkling wine. That blog was launched in October 2016 by Melbourne-based entrepreneur and international best-selling author Natalie Pickett. It shares information on the people, history, tasting, techniques of making champagne and sparkling wine and creates courses, events and tours so that their followers can join in and indulge.

Following the popularity of their blogs on Aussie sparkling wines, the concept of The Bubbles Festival, showcasing a range of sparkling wines in one boutique event, was born.

Having started initially as a Melbourne only event, in 2021 The Bubbles Festival took to other Australian cities making it a national, often sold-out, event. The Bubbles Festival 2024 will be sharing the bubbly love once again in 5 cities: Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney and Perth.

Ticket holders have access to a two-hour session, which includes a chance to meet and engage with producers and distributors of sparkling wine and champagne, and enjoy bubbly tastings, paired with canapés, all at one stylish event.  (A VIP upgrade can also be purchased giving extra bonuses and access to a special tasting. $5 from every VIP ticket is donated to the festival’s chosen charity in each city.)

We can’t tell you which sparkling or champagne you will be tasting as it varies per city and is a tightly held secret. However, in past years we have tasted Champagne Duval Leroy, the range of champagnes from Collet, Howard Vineyard pinot noir chardonnay from the Adelaide Hills, Golding sparkling shiraz, Italian organic prosecco to name just a few.

At each session of The Bubbles Festival, Natalie Pickett provides an introduction on tasting appreciation. A RIEDEL Champagne tasting glass is given to each attendee, and a curated list of 10 or more tastings of sparkling wine are provided along with canapés and tasting notes.

Natalie says “I think that champagne and sparkling wine are one of the joys of life and something to be shared. We love bringing all of these superb sparkling wines together with our followers at The Bubbles Festival”.
